Terms of Service

Welcome to Augmented Business Cards!
AugmentedBusiness.Cards builds technologies and services that enable people to create augmented reality business cards and grow their businesses. These Terms govern your use of provided services and tools from AugmentedBusiness.Cards.
We don’t charge you to scan the augmented reality business cards to view and interact with their content or contact the business card holder. Instead, businesses and organizations pay us to host the virtual information (augmented reality 3d objects and content) and print the actual physical business cards. By using our Products, you agree that we can show you ads that we think will be relevant to you and your interests.
If you ordered and paid for business cards, the information you provided for your augmented reality cards will be securely saved on our server. The data is only visible when someone has access to the direct url to your business card; this happens for example when you hand out your business card to someone, after scanning the QR-code on the card the user will be able to view the information you provided to be visible on your customized card.

These Terms regulate how AugmentedBusiness.Cards interacts with its users. The users are classified in two groups: Business Card Holder (BCH) and Business Card Viewer (BCV).

Information input, transfer and storage:


BCH:

play_arrow visible for everyone who scan your card or has access to your unique url on AugmentedBusiness.Cards You provide us information about your person and your business, to create your customized augmented reality business cards. Those information are visible for everyone on the Internet and includes these data:
  • Fullname
  • Company
  • E-mail
  • Telephone
  • Website
  • Social Media Links (those provided by you)
  • An Uploaded Video
  • Front and Back Image Of Your Printed Card

    • We save these information on our server and host them for the purchased period of time by you (1 or 2 years - this can be renewed after each period). After this period of time those information are not visible any more - They get deleted when you delete your Account.

    • These information are only needed for delivery of your physical business cards. We save these information on our server and host them for the purchased period of time by you (1 or 2 years - this can be renewed after each period). After this period of time those information are not visible any more - They get deleted when you delete your Account.

  • credit card information

    • Your credit card information is sent directly to the payment provider Stripe.com - We don’t store any payment information on our server.


    BCV:

  • Device model
    • When you scan a card to view the augmented reality content, the app needs permission to access your camera. The camera images are never saved or uploaded, they are only local on your device for visualization. We save your device model to know which devices are used to view the content, to improve our service. These data are never connected to you as a person and are saved 100% anonymized.
